The traditional style sampler has an alphabet, flowers, chairs, fruit, flowers, bees and a man throwing coins.
The chart pack has large scale black and white charts printed 10 stitches to two centimetres on four sides of A4. The pattern is worked in cross stitch, backstitch, eyelet stitches, satin stitch variations, Leviathan stitches, smyrna cross stitch, upright rice stitch, french knots and bargello stitch with enlarged details. There are stitch diagrams for the more unusual stitches.
The design is worked over 116 by 297 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size) using 15 shades of Needlepoint Silks and the model was stitched on 32 count linen.
The Drawn Thread web site has a conversion chart from Needlepoint Silks to DMC stranded cottons and from Dinky Dyes to Gentle Arts floss.
