This attractive traditional sampler has acorn, leaves and deer motifs around the verse. The design by Karen Kluba has large scale black and white charts printed 10 stitches to one inch on six A4 pages. The pattern is worked in 14 shades of Weeks Dye Works floss - 1270 rum raisin, 4121 indian summer, 1333 lancaster red, 2238 sweet potato, 2237 hazelnut, 1326 rust, 1271 bark, 2201 moss, 3960 teal forest, 1230 havana, 1233 cocoa, 4129 swamp water, 1317 eggplant and 1224 amber.
The design is worked in whole cross stitch, Algerian eyelet stitch and backstitch over 170 by 140 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size). The model was stitched on 28 count Cashel.
A further sampler - Welcome has the word stitched in Algerian eyelet stitch with a border of elements form the main sampler. It's worked on the same fabric with the same floss over 161 by 60 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size).
The 12 page booklet also features 10 mini designs.
