Plastic canvas is more rigid than woven canvas and doesn't fray and so intricate shapes can be cut and stitched. Edited by Judy Cross, the various designers supply detailed coloured working diagrams and making up instructions. All the patterns use 7 mesh canvas in various colours.
The 48 page book has patterns:-
Flip-Flop Accents - four designs to add to plastic flip flops with very little stitching and some glueing required - beginner;
Picnic Trio - a cup stacker, napkin holder and utensil caddy in white canvas with flower decorations at intermediate level;
Butterfly Windsock - an intermediate pattern, this uses coloured canvas with trailing ribbons;
Animal Baskets - chicken, cat and dog each with inner basket, this is an intermediate design;
White lace set - napkins, napkin holder and bread basket with simple decoration, this is an intermediate design;
Keyrings - an beginner design of car, house and tennis shoe;
Flower Basket - worked on blue with pink ribbons, this is an intermediate level design;
Cross bookmarks - advanced design decorated with ribbons;
Laced Bookmarks - in three styles for a beginner;
Under the Sea Frame - a beginner level design decorated with seaweed, octopus and starfish;
My First Doll House - a large design for a beginner worked in clear, white, pink and lavender canvas with sofa, living room chair, coffee table, end table, bed, dresser and bedroom chair.
